Matheson Leads The Way in Insurance

AUTHOR(S): Sharon Daly, Darren Maher, April McClements
PRACTICE AREA GROUP: Insurance and Reinsurance
DATE: 15.04.2016

The ‘extremely capable’ team at Matheson boasts three ‘Leading Individuals’ in the 2016 Legal 500 directory for EMEA. Matheson’s Insurance Group is consistently ranked as a tier 1 practice by Legal 500 and it is reinforced this year with three insurance partners, Sharon Daly, Darren Maher and April McClements, all appearing on the leading lawyer list. No other Irish law firm has more than one leading individual in this category.

Legal 500 has previously described the level of expertise as ‘second to none’, with Group Head Sharon Daly commended for her ability to respond creatively to complex issues.

Corporate Insurance head Darren Maher says “this recognition demonstrates the strength in depth in the group, and indicates what Matheson can offer compared to other firms”.

We are one of the few Irish law firms to have a dedicated Insurance Law Group (comprising our Corporate Insurance team and the Insurance Litigation team), which was established 13 years ago. We provide a full service to our insurance client base and no other firm has equivalent dedicated, specialist knowledge in corporate insurance and insurance litigation or can compare with Matheson in terms of strength and depth of experience.
