Experience Highlights

National Broadband Plan: We continue to advise the National Broadband Ireland project company (backed by Granahan McCourt investments and other investors) on its successful bid to design, finance, build and operate a high speed broadband network serving over 1 million people across Ireland (one of the most ambitious and wide-reaching State-backed broadband interventions in the world).

Greenlink Interconnector: We advised global private markets investment manager Partners Group on its acquisition of an interest in the Greenlink Interconnector, a project to construct a 500MW subsea interconnector between Ireland and Britain.

CLH Aviación at Dublin Airport: We advise CLH on all aspects of its successful tender for the design, build and operation of new aviation fuel terminal and pipeline infrastructure at Dublin Airport under a long term services concession agreement with airport operator daa plc.

DIT Grangegorman PPP: We advised lenders to the largest ever higher education PPP undertaken by the Irish State. The DIT Grangegorman PPP acts as one of the centrepieces of the Government's policy of making Ireland's education and training service the best in Europe by 2026.

General Electric Company: We advise GE on all of its Irish infrastructure and power assets, including over 300MW of wind generation and Ireland’s largest independent CCGT thermal generating station.

Hines Cherrywood Town Centre: We advise Hines on the development of Cherrywood Town Centre, including recently working with its partner APG on the procurement of €80,900,000 in financing from Wells Fargo Bank for the development of the TC2 residential plot at this project, involving the construction of two five and six storey blocks containing 384 apartments, associated common areas, communal facilities and infrastructure as part of Hines commitment to a total capital investment of over €1.1 billion in Dublin residential construction.

Dublin Airport: We advise daa plc, the operator of Dublin Airport, on various regulatory and project delivery matters relating to the airport’s continued growth.

Oxley Holdings Dublin Landings: We advise Oxley on its Dublin Landings project on North Wall Quay which comprises up to 10% of all of the development land available in the Dublin Docklands Strategic Development Zone. The project is designed to incorporate over 600,000 square feet of office space, 270 luxury residential apartments and landscape gardens as well as amenity spaces including roof gardens and terrace, a hotel, a gym and city streets (capex circa €300 million).  Our work includes advising on construction, funding, leasing and sales for all elements of the project.

Vermilion Energy at Corrib: We advise Vermilion as the operator of the Corrib offshore gas field and terminal.  Our team has been closely involved in this project, Ireland’s largest offshore energy project to date, since its inception.

Greystones Harbour PPP: We advise John Sisk & Son on the development, construction, financing and restructuring of the Greystones Harbour PPP (and associated residential and commercial elements) with Wicklow County Council which was one of the largest and most complex mixed use development PPPs ever undertaken in Ireland.

Caterpillar: We advised Caterpillar Inc in relation to its tender to Irish Rail for the largest locomotive overhaul the State railway operator has undertaken in decades.

Operational PPPs: We advise numerous international sponsors, lenders, contractors and operators on operational road, education, healthcare and justice PPPs on an ongoing basis.

Project Financing for Renewable Energy Projects: Over the past few years alone, we have advised Irish and international lenders and sponsors on the project financing of over 800MW of renewable energy assets in Ireland.
