What has happened?
The Irish Government has moved early to introduce certain EU-wide measures aimed at combatting money laundering and terrorist financing. This means that, starting now, most Irish companies need to gather information about their “beneficial owners”. This ownership information is likely to become publicly accessible in the near future.
