Nexvet Choose Matheson, the ‘Next Generation’ Law Firm

AUTHOR(S): Patrick Spicer
DATE: 22.06.2016

Patrick Spicer, Matheson’s Head of International Corporate, attended the official opening of Nexvet’s new bio manufacturing facility, BioNua Limited, in Tullamore on 3 June 2016.

Nexvet Biopharma, the Irish headquartered firm developing cutting edge therapies for domestic pets, secured the facility in September 2015 and announced that 30 new jobs would be created there. BioNua Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexvet Biopharma, and a Matheson client, undertook an extensive refurbishment project at the facility, supported by IDA Ireland. Mary Mitchell O’Connor, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation presided the official opening of the state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot premises.

Nine of the world’s top ten pharmaceutical companies, and 13 of the top 15 medical technology companies are based in Ireland. It is easy to see why global innovators such as Nexvet have chosen Ireland as their base. Matheson’s Corporate Group is one of the leading practices in Ireland, and acting for cutting edge companies such as Nexvet reaffirms our position as the law firm of choice for the world’s leading technology and pharmaceutical names.
