George previously worked in the London office of a leading international law firm and has been a partner since 2003.

- Babcock & Brown on its EUR2.36 billion acquisition of eircom Group plc
- Questcor Inc on its $5.6 billion merger with Mallinckrodt plc (NYSE)
- Actavis (NYSE) on its $8.5 billion acquisition of Warner Chilcott plc (NASDAQ)
- Unsuccesful bid to acquire eircom from examinership on behalf of an international Telco group
- Royalty Pharma on its $6.5 billion hostile bid for Elan Corporation (NYSE)
- Irving Oil on its acquisition of the Whitegate Refinery
- Weatherford International (NYSE) on its re-domiciliation from Switzerland to Ireland
- Eaton Corporation (NYSE) on it $11.8 billion acquisition of Cooper Industries plc
- Acquisition by Intro Aviation of CityJet from Air France
- Microsoft on its acquistion of Havok
- The underbidder on the EUR1.1 billion sale of Bord Gáis Energy
- Insight Venture Partners in relation to its investments in Fenergo Group Limited and AMCS Limited
- Beam Inc (NYSE), the leading premium global spirits company, in its acquisition of Cooley Distillery the award winning independent Irish whiskey producer
- Realm Energy International (a company formerly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange) on its merger with San Leon plc
- Endesa SA and Enel on the €350 million disposal of Endesa Ireland (which owns power stations at Tarbert and Great Island) to SSE
