Will Irish companies continue to have equal rights and remedies to UK companies when bidding in UK public tenders?  

Our recommendation:

Irish companies who seek to participate in UK public tenders should seek advice on any changes in UK law as there is no guarantee of equal rights in the long-term.

Will UK companies continue to have equal rights and remedies to Irish and EU companies when bidding in Irish public tenders?

Our recommendation:

Monitor legal developments and announcements by the Irish Office of Government Procurement, who advised in December 2018 to expect that UK companies will continue to have equal rights following a ‘no deal’ Brexit on the basis that Irish procurement law is not changing.
