Corporate partner, Fergus Bolster and Corporate senior associate, Susan Carroll set out in this note (a) the process to be followed by a company that is incorporated outside of the EEA (whose members’ liability is limited) (a “Non-EEA Company”) looking to register a branch in Ireland; and (b) the on-going filing requirements to which the Non-EEA Company will be subject following the registration of a branch.  This process and these requirements are provided for in Part 21 of the Companies Act 2014.
