Matheson's Asset Management and Investment Funds Department has been ranked by the Monterey Insight Ireland Fund Report as Ireland's leading practice by assets under management (“AUM”) for the 13th year in a row.
The Monterey Insight Ireland Fund Report 2023 reveals that Matheson continues to rank:
- First for Irish domiciled funds based on AUM for the 13th consecutive year
- First for combined domiciled and non-domiciled funds based on AUM
Commenting on the results of the report, Tara Doyle, partner and head of Matheson's Asset Management and Investment Funds Department, said:
"Despite the challenges presented by inflation, deglobalisation and geopolitical shifts in recent years, we are pleased to see the Irish funds industry continues on its growth trajectory, with overall assets in the Irish domiciled funds industry increasing by 8.6% in US$ value and growth of 3.1% in the number of Irish-domiciled funds. We are delighted to have retained our number one ranking by AUM for the 13th year in a row. It is interesting to note that ETFs have surpassed money market products domiciled in Ireland for the first time this year, and we are pleased to see growing interest in the Irish investment limited partnership (ILP) structure and continued growth in new sustainable product launches, reinforcing Ireland's position as a leading European centre of excellence for the domicile and servicing of sustainable funds."
