Matheson is honoured to have been named Law Firm of the Year – Republic of Ireland at The Lawyer European Awards 2022. The prestigious annual awards, which were presented at a ceremony in London last night, recognise and celebrate excellence across the European legal market, and this year attracted entries from over 120 independent law firms headquartered in Europe and global firms across the continent.
When announcing Matheson's award, the judges said that "...the winning firm has impressed with its standout performance that has allowed them to consolidate their position within an increasingly competitive market, all achieved with a clear sense of doing it the right way ..."

The 13th annual European Awards returned in person for the first time since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event saw 25 awards handed out across a range of jurisdictional and practice area categories.
