Matheson was delighted to partner with the US Embassy on the final event in the 2017 Creative Minds series.  The theme was 'The Future of  Cybersecurity' and the discussion focused on the primary concerns of the private sector in this space, with particular emphasis to their operations in Ireland - what are the major upcoming challenges regarding cybersecurity and the corporate sector.

Anne-Marie Bohan, partner and Head of Technology and Innovation at Matheson introduced the panel which included the Assistant Secretary, Cybersecurity and Communications, US Department of Homeland Security, Jeanette Manfra; TCD Professor of Engineering and Director of the TCD CONNECT Centre, Linda Doyle, and INM Group Editor Dearbhail McDonald.

In 2015, the U.S. Embassy in Ireland and Ambassador Kevin F. O’Malley launched the Creative Minds Series, which invites prominent U.S. artists, writers, filmmakers, digital culture innovators, and musicians to share their experience with young Irish audiences. The goal is to find ways to create new collaborations and encourage more creative economic linkages between young people in the United States and Ireland.  To find out more about this series, click here.
