AUTHORs: John Ryan Date: 14/09/2018

Matheson has been awarded International Firm in the Americas 2018 for the second consecutive year at last night’s International Tax Reviews 13th annual Americas Tax Award’s ceremony in New York.

The Americas Tax Awards highlight transactions that break new ground and set market precedents based on a number of criteria including size, innovation, complexity and impact.  The International Firm in the Americas award is open to firms with headquarters outside the Americas that provide local tax advice on Americas-originated cross-border work.

Speaking about the win, Matheson Managing Partner Michael Jackson said:

“This award recognises the continued excellence of the legal work undertaken by our Tax Department and reflects the firm’s footprint on the ground in the US, with Tax partner Alan Keating in New York and Tax partner Mark O’Sullivan leading our US west coast offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto.”

Matheson’s Tax Department is consistently ranked as the leading tax law firm in Ireland by the European Legal 500, Chambers Global, American Lawyer, Directors Tax Handbook, World Tax and International Tax Review.
