LegalTech Disruption: Matheson Announces New Digital Legal Services Group

In an environment of increased digital disruption and client demand for LegalTech, Matheson has announced the launch of its new, multi-disciplinary  Digital Services Group. Through this new service offering, Matheson has developed a platform of digital experts consisting of 17 professionals - combining lawyers, AI software developers, legal solutions consultants and architects, project managers, document automation specialists and business analysts. 

The establishment of the Matheson Digital Services Group has been driven by significant advances in LegalTech - and in response to the evolving needs of the firm’s clients in areas of large-volume legal work; enhanced legal process efficiency; and demand for bespoke new digital products in the delivery of legal solutions. From project-managing complex, cross-border due diligence processes using machine learning contract analysis software; to managing one of the largest eDiscovery projects in the history of the State; to developing regulatory compliance software, Matheson Digital Services Group leverages advanced digital technology and agile processes to deliver on complex, large scale legal solutions.

The launch of the firm’s Digital Services Group comes on the back of consistent international recognition for innovation at Matheson, with the firm being ranked Ireland’s Most Innovative Law Firm 2019 by the Financial Times in its Innovative Lawyers report, and ranked in the FT’s Top 25 Most Innovative Law Firms in Europe.
