Patrick is a partner in the Finance and Capital Markets Department and he advises on banking, structured finance, project finance and securitisation transactions and provides regulatory advice to banks and other financial services institutions.

Patrick regularly contributes articles to financial services and banking journals and has spoken at a number of finance conferences.  He also lectures on banking law subjects for a number of educational bodies.

  • A number of Irish banks in relation to the issuance of senior and subordinated debt securities.
  • The underwriters of a number of asset backed securitisations involving Irish mortgages and other assets originated by Irish banks.
  • Syndicates of lenders in relation to syndicated credit facilities for Irish corporates (both secured and unsecured).
  • A number of banks in relation to the transfer of their Irish banking business using a statutory scheme of transfer.
