Practice Areas shortlist

The Women in Business Law Awards were launched in 2011 to recognise the achievements of women lawyers and the diversity agenda in legal work from firms across the world.  They celebrate excellence and innovation across the legal sector from leading women lawyers.  The diverse categories are designed to recognise the growing talent pool of women in law in the 'Rising stars' category, celebrate women leaders in their field in the 'Practice area' awards and laud firm progression in diversity and inclusion through the best D&I categories.  Through a robust submission and research process, only the best individual lawyers and firms are recognised.

Female lawyers from a wide spectrum of practice areas, jurisdictions and sectors are represented on the shortlist.  The mix of international firms and national practices provides a snapshot of the most advanced teams working in the legal profession today.

The winners will be announced on 24 June.
