This milestone transaction represents the continuation of Macquarie Asset Management’s investment in leading Irish infrastructure assets following the success of its 2021 purchase of Beauparc Utilities, a transaction Matheson also advised on as lead Irish counsel. Macquarie Group has played a key role in the development of Irish infrastructure, having invested or committed more than €2 billion across the education, social housing, waste management, renewable energy, and healthcare sectors since 2009.
