Knowledge Insights Series | Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Bill 2022)

The focus of the event will be the recently-published Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Bill 2022.  The discussion will be divided into three sessions;

Session 1: IAF Bill: – Where are we now and what key points should firms and individuals be considering?  This session will explore the architecture and drafting of the Bill and will address key topics such as governance and employment law.

Session 2: Sectoral Perspectives – Financial Services Sectoral Lenses on the IAF Bill.  In this session we will hear from key financial services representative bodies who have been engaging with this topic over the last number of years.  The discussion will focus on more particular perspectives for the Banking, Insurance and Investment and Asset Management sectors.

Session 3: Preparing for Implementation:  This session will share and explore some of the key components and experiences of preparing for the implementation of the Business and Individual Conduct Rules, and the Senior Executive Accountability Regime, as well as outlining a number of the proposals for change to the investigation and enforcement regime under the existing Central Bank Acts.
