Matheson LLP is pleased to announce that Marie McGinley has joined the firm as a partner in its leading Technology and Innovation Group.

Marie McGinley will play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth and development of the Group, leveraging her broad skillset to work with clients in navigating these fast-evolving and strategically critical areas.
A recognised leader in the technology and data protection sector, Marie’s expertise is in technology regulation, including AI, outsourcing, commercial contracts, information law, and data protection. She also brings extensive experience in cyber security, crisis management, intellectual property and consumer law.
Effective from 1 January 2026, Marie will also become Head of the Technology and Innovation Group, succeeding Anne-Marie Bohan, who has led the Group since 2017. The Group has also recently added two new solicitors – Bridget Howard and Stephanie McCarthy – to the 20-strong team, which is led by four partners.
