Matheson Chairperson and Corporate partner, Patrick Spicer, has been appointed as Vice-President of Dublin Chamber.
The year-long appointment was announced at Dublin Chamber’s recent annual general meeting. He will serve as President in 2027, succeeding David Kelly.

About Patrick Spicer
Patrick is a senior partner in Matheson’s Corporate practice and is the firm’s Chairperson. A former head of Matheson’s Corporate department, he joined the firm as a trainee in 1994, having graduated from Trinity College, Dublin and acts for a large range of internationally-focussed companies doing business in and from Ireland. He specialises in public and private company M&A, private equity transactions, equity fundraisings, reorganisations and refinancings. Paddy has for many years been recognised as one of Ireland’s pre-eminent M&A lawyers by the leading independent international publications.
A member of the Council of Dublin Chamber since 2019, and a director of Dublin Chamber since 2020, Patrick recently chaired Dublin Chamber’s Budget and Competitiveness Taskforce, and is a past Chair of the Planning and Infrastructure Taskforce.
