Matheson’s Competition and Regulation team is delighted to have been ranked as ‘Elite’ in the Global Competition Review (GCR) 100 for 2026 in Ireland. This ranking acknowledges the market-leading expertise within the team and its central and continued involvement in Ireland’s most significant competition cases.
The GCR 100 is the annual listing of the world’s best competition practices. Based on extensive research, leading trade press, GCR provide a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the law firms and economic consultancies engaged the most important competition work globally.
GCR specifically highlighted that “the firm advised Cellnex Telecom on the sale of its Irish mobile tower business to Phoenix Tower International, a transaction cleared by the CCPC with remedies following an extended Phase II review” and “acted for Windward Management and Emerald Investments on the €83 million sale of the Radisson Dublin Airport Hotel to Dalata Hotel Group, which underwent a Phase II investigation by the CCPC.”
