Matheson’s Corporate team has won the European Corporate Team of the Year award at The Lawyer European Awards 2025 in London.
Partner and Co-Head of Matheson’s Corporate Department, David Fitzgibbon said; “Winning such a prestigious award is another international acknowledgement of the skills and expertise which are demonstrated every day by the many skilled lawyers in our Corporate Department, supported by our business services teams. It also shows the calibre of the transactions on which Matheson leads, including: Pandox’ €1.4 billion acquisition of Dalata Hotel Group; the $25.5 billion Smurfit Westrock combination; Macquarie Asset Management’s circa €342 million purchase of the Beacon Hospital, and the sale by Cellnex of its Irish business to Phoenix Tower International for circa €1 billion.”
