Matheson LLP is delighted to have won the Excellence in Learning & Development award at the prestigious People in Law Awards 2024 which were presented in London on Thursday, 2 May 2024.
Matheson won the award for its Pathways programme, an agile and sustainable learning programme which identifies skills and capabilities for every employee in the firm to achieve as part of their career development.
The organisers said that the programme was a “fantastic example of truly cross-firm people development that has strengthened the firm’s community and culture. The initiative pivoted away from role related programmes to sessions chosen by the firm community. The sessions involved people from legal and support service divisions learning together, and in cohort groups, to match the needs of the post-pandemic working environment.”
The People in Law Awards, which are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, recognise the very best people achievements across the legal industry, and Matheson's entries were up against those from some of the largest law firms in Europe and the UK. We are proud to be the only Irish law firm to be shortlisted in any category.
