Matheson has been named Ireland Tax Disputes Firm of the Year at the 22nd annual International Tax Review (ITR) Europe Awards 2026. In addition, Catherine Galvin, Head of Partnership Tax Matters, has been inducted into the Women in Tax Leaders Hall of Fame.
The Ireland Tax Disputes Firm of the Year award recognises the strength of Matheson’s Tax team, the largest tax law practice among Irish law firms, and its longstanding reputation for excellence, underpinned by trusted client relationships and innovative, commercially focused advice.
Catherine’s induction into the Women in Tax Leaders Hall of Fame, recognises her outstanding contribution to the tax profession and commitment to supporting the advancement of women in tax.

The ITR Europe Awards 2026 recognise leading tax advisory and legal practices across jurisdictions worldwide, and were presented at an awards gala on Thursday, 17 September at The Londoner in Leicester Square, London.
