Brian Butterwick joins thriving Corporate practice
Matheson LLP has appointed Brian Butterwick as a partner in its Corporate M&A Group.
Based in the Dublin office, Brian has extensive experience advising on a broad range of corporate matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, and equity capital markets transactions. Brian worked in London for over a decade for a leading US law firm and an elite international firm and has particular expertise in advising international and domestic clients on complex, high-value cross-border strategic transactions. Prior to joining Matheson, he was a partner at another Irish law firm.
Brian’s appointment brings the number of partners and tax principals in Matheson to 125. He will continue to support clients across a range of industries and his arrival marks a further expansion of Matheson’s Corporate M&A team which now includes 17 partners.
