Matheson is partnering with Finance Dublin and Financial Services Ireland for the 2017 Financial Centres Summit. Addressing the key issues facing growth-orientated financial services businesses, the summit will provide an overview of the business and jurisdictional issues facing cross-border International Financial Services businesses globally, by global thought leaders.
The key focus will be on the global issues in the five International Financial Services hubs where Ireland is a leading world financial centre: Aircraft Leasing, Investment Funds & Asset Management, Market-Based Finance, Reinsurance & Insurance, and International Banking.
Matheson Partners will address delegates at the event on 17 October in Dublin Castle including Turlough Galvin, Partner and Head of Tax, who will be part of a panel discussion “Out of the shadows: Does non bank finance make the economy more resilient against crashes?”
Shay Lydon, Partner in the Asset Management and Investment Funds Group, will address delegates on topics including an overview of the regulatory landscape for investment funds businesses for 2018 and preparing for Brexit.
The Summit is produced and directed by Finance Dublin and presented in collaboration with Financial Services Ireland, the Ibec constituent body for the financial services industry.
