Matheson’s International Business Group is the Irish corporate counsel of choice to overseas companies doing business in and from Ireland. The International Business Group has for many years now been the “go-to” Irish corporate law service offering for multinational companies from around the world on the establishment, expansion and operation of their business in Ireland and as the advisor of choice in the inward investment space.
Members of the International Business Group represent and act for a significant proportion of the global multinational companies who have establishment operations in Ireland over the last 30 years. Our clients include the majority of the leading global companies in the life sciences, technology and other sectors who have established a significant presence in Ireland over the past 20 years. We also continue to advise on the most significant foreign direct investment projects taking place in Ireland each year, including counselling existing clients on expansions of their existing operations in Ireland.
Our clients benefit from the group’s specialist sector knowledge and commercial orientated corporate advice, as well as a range of valued added services including training in corporate governance issues for directors and in-house counsel. In addition we perform a client relationship role for many of the Firm’s international clients by coordinating the provision of their legal needs with other parts of the firm.
In addition to acting as an extension of our clients’ in-house teams, specialised company secretarial and corporate compliance professionals work side-by-side with corporate lawyers in the International Business Group, enabling our clients to focus on strategic issues.
